1. REGISTRATION & PERSONAL DATA

Do I have to register with bookingstart.com in order to make reservations?
No. Once you have decided which hotel you wish to stay at, the final stage of the booking dialog asks you to enter your personal data. You will receive an email with confirmation, where you can see your access details for bookingstart.com. You can register in bookingstart.com without a reservation in order to take advantage of special discount rates, exclusive hotel offers and promotions, making bookings without additional charges, and other special services provided to registered users. If you are a company or business traveler, your registration will provide you with exclusive corporate discount rates, travel and event planning assistance, travel expenses control tool, branded travel platform and other special services.

How can I register?
You can register by clicking on the “Register here” button at the front page and fill out the required fields. You will receive an e-mail with a confirmation and access details.

Why must I as a customer at bookingstart.com enter personal data?
This data is needed so that it can be forwarded to the hotel you have booked. You should note that it is not possible to make a booking without this information. We recommend that you to enter your correct email address and mobile telephone number in case queries arise at short notice.

2. BOOKING

At what point is my booking via bookingstart.com binding?
Once you click on the "Book" button in the final stage of the booking dialog, and the reservation confirmation appears on your screen, a binding reservation has been made. In addition, we will immediately send you a reservation confirmation to the e-mail address you specified.

I have not yet received my reservation confirmation e-mail. What should I do?
If you do not receive an email confirmation from bookingstart.com after booking, please write us to info@bookingstart.com.

Will I receive an additional confirmation of my reservation from the hotel?
No, this is not necessary. You only need the bookingstart.com reservation confirmation and voucher, which you should present when you arrive at the hotel.

My booking attempt failed. What should I do?

How can I forward messages/requirements to the hotel?
The final stage of the booking dialog contains a text box called "Comments". This enables you to send non-binding messages and requirements to the hotel.

Can I use bookingstart.com to reserve rooms for groups?
Yes, bookingstart.com has a special section for group bookings. The service gives you an opportunity to select several hotels and to send them group request with your details and requirements. Once you have sent the request, you will be contacted by our Group sales team with the hotel offers and special negotiated rates. You can compare group offers and to choose the best for your group. Additionally, you can make advance reservations for air flights, transfers, rental cars and others. 3. CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

How can I cancel my reservation?
You can cancel your booking for free before the expiry of the cancellation period of your booking. Please note that there are some rates that cannot be cancelled at all. If you wish to cancel a reservation, please contact us by email at info@bookingstart.com or by phone: + 1 34 7694 7694. Your cancellation must be notified to bookingstart.com before the cancellation period expires. In the case of cancellation after expiry of the cancellation period, the hotel has the right to charge you a fee amounting to the total amount for your entire stay.

I need to cancel but the cancellation period has expired. What should I do?
Please inform bookingstart.com immediately by email at info@bookingstart.com or by phone: + 1 34 7694 7694. In the case of cancellation after expiry of the cancellation period, the hotel has the right to charge you a fee amounting to the total amount for your entire stay.

How can I change my booking?

4. PAYMENTS

When does the payment take place?
Payment must be completed at least 10 days before arriving date at the hotel and before the expiry of the cancellation deadline.

How do I make payments?
bookingstart.com offers several payment methods:
  • by Credit Card - A Credit card can be used to pay the amount of each reservation. The reservation should be finalized (paid) by the payment deadline for each reservation in order not to lose the reservation. You will receive an email with payment details and a link for payment. In order to safeguard and encrypt your credit card information when in transit to us, we use the "Secure Socket Layer (SSL)" technology for our services.
  • by Bank Transfer – A bank transfer can be accepted for a reservation only if the payment deadline is ahead in order to make sure the bank transfer is received before this deadline. Please note that bookingstart.com is not responsible for bank / money transfer fees.

5. RATES AND OFFERS

Is there a fee for using the service provided by bookingstart.com?
bookingstart.com provides its service free of charge. We will not charge you for our service or add any additional (reservation) fees to the room rates.

Are these hotel rates per person/night or per room/night?
The rates shown in the hotel list are per room for the entire stay you are searching for. All rates that are displayed include VAT and all other taxes (subject to change of such taxes), unless stated differently.

Are taxes and all service fees included in the price of my reservations?
Yes, all taxes and fees are included in the total price.
